DILIGENCE-READY
Approach

The same discipline as a month-end close

PHASE 01 — ASSESS

Find every variance

An honest evaluation of your finance function, systems, and reporting. You get the list of what would concern an investor — before an investor finds it.

PHASE 02 — REBUILD

Fix the foundation

The right systems, the right models, the right controls — designed once, documented properly, and implemented to be handed to a board or a buyer.

PHASE 03 — OPERATE

Lead with the numbers

Ongoing CFO-level oversight with real-time visibility, so your company stays diligence-ready every quarter — not just when a raise is on the calendar.

Why G&C

Most firms are one or the other. We're deliberately both.

Technology consultants rarely understand finance. Finance advisors rarely understand technology. G&C was built on the premise that growth companies need both in the same room.

Financial authority

CPA credentials and real CFO experience, including public-sector finance leadership and director-level finance at a $100M+ company.

A chart of accounts for what we do

Six practice areas, each drawing directly on CPA-level finance, graduate-level data science, and real executive and board experience. We advise, design, and lead — we don't do data entry.

1000 · STRATEGIC FINANCE

Fractional CFO & Strategic Finance

CFO-level leadership without the full-time cost. We own your forecast, your capital strategy, and your board narrative — the judgment calls a controller can't make and a founder shouldn't make alone.

Financial Infrastructure & ERP

The systems layer of the finance function: selecting, implementing, and integrating the ERP and cloud stack so your data is connected, your close runs in days, and your reporting doesn't depend on any one person's spreadsheet.

Approach

The same discipline as a month-end close

Every engagement follows the sequence a good close follows: verify the current state, correct what's wrong, and put a repeatable process behind it. Nothing is done that can't be documented, and nothing is documented that can't survive review.

PHASE 01
ASSESS

Find every variance

We start where an investor would start: with the numbers, the systems that produce them, and the people who own them. The output is an honest gap analysis — what's solid, what's fragile, and what would stop a deal.

  • Financial statement and reporting quality review
  • Systems and data-architecture assessment
  • Control-environment and process walkthroughs
  • Investor red-flag inventory, ranked by severity
  • Roadmap with timeline and estimated investment
PHASE 02
REBUILD

Fix the foundation

Remediation in priority order. We design the target state — systems, models, controls, reporting — and implement it ourselves rather than leaving you with a slide deck. Everything is documented so it outlives the engagement.

  • ERP and systems implementation or integration
  • Forecast model and KPI architecture build
  • Internal controls and policy documentation
  • Automation of manual, error-prone workflows
  • Board and investor reporting package design
PHASE 03
OPERATE

Lead with the numbers

Infrastructure decays without leadership. Ongoing fractional CFO oversight keeps the forecast current, the board informed, and the company permanently diligence-ready — so the next raise or exit starts from strength, not from cleanup.

  • Fractional CFO cadence: monthly or quarterly
  • Forecast refresh and variance review
  • Board meeting preparation and attendance
  • Continuous readiness monitoring against the red-flag inventory
  • Advisory on capital events as they approach

Phase 01 starts with a conversation.

The Financial Readiness Assessment is free, 30 minutes, and specific to your company.

About

Built to be both

G&C Enterprises Management Inc. exists because growth companies kept having to choose between advisors who understood finance and consultants who understood technology. We were founded to be the rare firm that is credibly both.

Founder & Principal

Amy Liu, MBA, CPA

Amy has led finance for a public municipality, directed finance at a $100M+ company, and supported transactions from due diligence through close. She then did what few finance executives do: went back for graduate-level technical training at MIT and Harvard, so she could build the systems she had spent a career depending on.

She founded G&C to give growth companies the financial leadership and infrastructure that larger enterprises take for granted — delivered with the accountability of a CPA and the fluency of an engineer.

How we work

Three commitments on every engagement

Advisory, not outsourcing

We lead, design, and implement. We are not a bookkeeping shop or a tax practice — engagements are scoped at the level where credentials and judgment matter.

Everything documented

Systems, models, and controls are built to be handed over — to your team, your auditor, or your acquirer. If it isn't documented, it isn't done.

The investor's seat

Every deliverable is judged by one standard: would it hold up in a boardroom or a data room? We've sat in those seats, and we build for them.

Bring both sides of the firm to your next decision.

Finance and technology, in the same conversation.
