What If I H​ave More Transactions?

No problem! If your business grows and exceeds 50 transactions per month, we charge:

  • $2.50 per additional transaction

We'll let you know if you're approaching the limit so there are no surprises.

What's NOT Included?

These services are available at $150/hour:

  • Payroll processing and T4 slips
  • Inventory management
  • Tax planning consultations (beyond basic advice)
  • CRA audit support
  • Amended tax returns
  • Personal tax returns (T1)
  • Multiple bank accounts (more than 2)
  • Multiple currencies

Your Responsibilities

To keep things running smoothly, we need you to:

  • Send us bank and credit card statements by the 10th of each month
  • Provide all receipts and invoices
  • Let us know about any big changes in your business
  • Forward any CRA letters within 48 hours
  • Give us year-end info
  • Review and approve your tax returns within 5 business days

Important Things You Should Know

This Is a "Compilation" Service

This means:

  • We prepare your books from the information YOU provide
  • We don't audit or verify your numbers
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of what you give us
  • These statements are for tax purposes and internal use (not for bank loans)
Personal Service Business Warning

If your corporation might be a "Personal Service Business" under tax law:

  • You may not qualify for small business tax rates
  • Some expenses might not be deductible
  • We'll help you understand if this applies to you
We Can't Detect Fraud

Our services are not designed to catch:

  • Employee theft
  • Fraud or embezzlement
  • Errors in your records

You need to have your own controls in place.

  • Everything is backed up regularly
  • We keep your information confidential
  • You can export your data anytime
  • We keep records for 7 years as required by law

Contract Terms

How Long Is the Agreement?
  • One year (your fiscal year)
  • Automatically renews each year unless you give 60 days notice
Can I Cancel?
  • Yes, with 30 days notice
  • You'll pay for services up to the cancellation date
  • We'll give you all your data and files
What If There's a Problem?
  • We'll talk it out first
  • If needed, we'll use mediation
  • Our liability is capped at the lesser of: the fees you paid for that service, or $25,000

CRA Authorization

By working with us, you authorize us to:

  • Talk to CRA on your behalf
  • File your tax returns electronically
  • Receive notices from CRA about your account
  • Discuss your tax situation with CRA
